Giant City Student Helps Local Animal Shelter

Fifth grade student, Olivia Zambetta, is using her voice to help the Cache Creek Animal Shelter in Anna, IL.
After watching a local news story about the shelter being flooded several times over the last few years, Olivia decided, "Being an animal lover, I knew I needed to help."
Olivia and her classmates have decorated cans to collect money at school and has sent letters to other local school districts in our area. She hopes other schools will get in a competition with Giant City to raise money for the no-kill shelter.
