Muddy Kids Check Presentation

This year Giant City School was the pilot program for the Muddy Kids Project. The Muddy Kids Foundation works to promote student understanding of the wildlife living in southern Illinois. This year students learned different species of animals and took a field trip to the Touch of Nature to explore and meet many of the animal species. Muddy Kids founder, Gene Morgan is pictured with teachers and students from Giant City. He is presenting a check for $500 to the school to purchase supplies for the program, and another $500 was donated to pay for the field trip to Touch of Nature.

  1. Great job GCS and Muddy Kids! My daughter (1st grade) is always talking about different animals and characteristics of each. She reminds us that these are things she learned from Muddy Kids!
