Regional Champions!

The Giant City Boys Basketball Team cinched the SIJHSAA Region 3 Championship this evening. Defeating the OLMC Crusaders by a score of 56-26. The Giants will play at Rend Lake on Feb. 8th at 12:00. Good Luck Giants!

All Tournament Team

Giant City is proudly represented by All Tournament Team Players: Darius Beane and Seth German. Both players were voted all tournament by the coaches in our conference. Congratulations!

Spirit Week Activities

Students enjoyed spirit week activities this week to celebrate the regional boys basketball playoffs. Tuesday, students were able to wear wild hair or hats to school.  

Giant City Girl Scouts Make Donation

Giant City Girl Scouts worked hard this winter to make a wonderful donation to the Angel Tree. The girl scouts met and brainstormed for ways that they could help their community. The girls decided to do chores around the house to earn money. The girl scouts earned over $200 to donate to the Giant City Angel Tree. Their donation was used to buy presents and clothes for students in need during the Christmas season.
